The camp is an initiative of the New Labour Party and is designed to allow unionists to discuss our current situation and how we can best prepare for the looming confrontation with conservative governments across the country. Sessions at the camp will deal with the legacy of the accord between the previous federal Labor government and the Unions, the new Industrial relations act, and the threats to unions. How we can best organise resistance and support for workers in struggle. How to fight the ongoing privatisation process.
speakers will come from Metals, Mining, Construction, Power generation, Electrical industry unions Textile clothing and Footwear, the public sector (Australia Post and telecom) and many others
