EXPERIENCE
* Fourteen years specific experience in
occupational health and safety, three in the
federal public sector area, and eleven in the
Victorian State context, working as policy
and project officer and manager supervising
policy staff, and managing work units with
approximately 20 staff and budgets of $1m.
per annum.
* Experience in the implementation of
Quality Assurance systems and auditing of
quality and safety management systems and
the study of environmental management
systems and auditing.
* Experience working on the Federal
Government's Best Practice Program at the
Australian Manufacturing Council.
* Five years experience in industrial relations
in the federal public sector, working as
Training and Publicity Officer, Occupational
Health and Safety Officer and performing
general industrial work.
* Five years experience in the community
and welfare sector as a Community
Development Officer.
* Development of Indoor Air Quality
Strategy for the Environment Protection
Authority.
Michael has produced many publications relating to
