PEM's role
Depending on the nature of the organisation's needs, PEM can participate as part of a project team, providing project management leadership and/or specialist input.

For larger projects PEM uses specialist associates to supplement its own resources.

The objective is to apply best practice approaches to ensure regulatory compliance and the effective implementation of appropriate management systems for occupational health and safety and environmental management.

PEM can assist a company by identifying the significant issues, developing action plans to implement solutions to these in a cost-effective, productive, sustainable and strategic manner.

This will address regulatory compliance and can include the development of an appropriate management system for the organisation.

The OHS Management System will be based on the HSOV SafetyMAP management system which is explicitly compatible with the JANZS 9000 quality series. The environmental management system is based on the British Standard, which is the basis for the developing ISO standard.
