Robert and Jane were married on Christmas day. Someone told me you could marry for free on Christmas day in those days. Even so, not sure I would be game to suggest it.

Here lieth the body of Robart Lawton (Hawton?) of Lidwell in this parish.  He was
born May 27th 1697 and was buried Novemberthe 24th 1763

Phillip his wife was here buried December 12th 1740

Also Phillipi daugther of the above was buried the 27th day of July 1816. Aged 84 years
This does not tally with Joan Bohay as his wife above, so a checkout is needed
