The Extract of a Genealogical Decree of the
Province of Minsk.
Took place during a genealogical meeting
of the Deputation of the Province of Minsk
Genealogy of the Family .?. Tumilowicz
Year Eighteen hundred and eight, month of
November, twenty seventh day
In front of us, Stanislaw Wacikowicz, Marshal
of the Minsk Province, Knight of the Order
of St Anna second class and of Deputies of
Regions of the Province of Minsk empowered
to receive and to consider genealogical claims
of the nobility, a genealogical claim of
the Tumilowicz Family was presented by Jan
Tumilowicz according to which it can be seen
that this family using the coat of arms called
Ostoja which is:
two not full gold moons, facing each other
with their backs, with their tips
pointing out and between them a white sword
with the handle pointing up, on a red background,
on the helmet five ostrich feathers from
old times according of the testimony of Polish
authors.
Being honoured with nobility jewels exercising
all privileges corresponding to this state
and having the right to hereditary property
and ..?.. nobility distinction lasting to
this day, from among this Family settled
in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the district
of Grodzievisk directly descending from his
grandfather Bazyli Tumilowicz in accordance
with an agreement by King John (Jan?) the
third in the year 168? For hay collecting
in the group of properties located in the
area of Grudzievisk for the one born Bazyli
? Tumilowicz and relation of the beneficiary
and of everlasting rights ..?.. in the district
of Grodzievisk from Jankowskis ..?.. to one
born Bazyli Tumilowicz in the year 1688,
May 13th
Dated in 1690, June 15th in ..?.. Grudzievisk
granted and married? To the ancestor ..?..
recorded by us the Deputies, proved the family
of his ancestors ..?.. Bazyli Tumilowicz
of herditary rights ..?.. in the area of
Grudzievisk purchased? By the everlasting
right from Grybowskis ..?.. three ..?.. of
land in the province of Nowogrodek located
in the village called Poradawszczyrur testified
to the law of One thousand seven hundered
and ninety six, October 20, 26th day. This
one in the second generation left the only
son Kazimiriez. Kazimierez son of Basyli
in the second generation had a son named
Jan who signs the present statement. Jan
son of Kazimierez moved to the province of
Minsk where he engaged in a service acceptable
to his noble status and purchased a property
named Kryczniki.
In fourth generation he produced 4 sons:
Jozef, Tadeusz, Mikolaj and Piotr testified
by birth certificates as follows: in the
year 1720, 11th November Kazmierez was born,
son of Bazyl; ..?.. 1752, 3rd July Jan was
born, son of Kazimierez; in the year 1780,
20th October Josef was born; in the year
17??, 10th November Tadeusz was born; in
the year 179?, 20th October Piotr was born;
in the year 1793, 16th ..?.. Mikolaj was
born, son of Jan, also authenticated testimony
by the officers and citizens of the Province
of Minsk in 18?2, October 24 Dated Eovundum
12th November in property courts of Minsk
province activated expressing that Mr Jan
Tumilowicz is a real Polish nobleman with
all the privileges of inheritance of a property
named Kryczniki in Minsk province and that
his father Kazimierez, grandfather Bazyli
from his ancestors ..?.. were honoured as
nobility ..?.. as proof of such birth of
the one born Jan Tumilowicz deposited ..?..
everlasting ..?.. in 1792, March 16 ..?..
19th Province of Minsk accorded by Wolodkowicz
..?.. spent on the Kryczniki property.
The Inheritance Deputation after inspecting
every document presented can see that the
possession of inherited properties from grandfather
to this day is justified and from this the
claim of the Tumilowicz family to nobility
is evident. On the basis of the evidence
regarding the state of nobility by the claimants,
we the Marshall of the Province and deputies
of the province of Minsk according to laws
in 1785 given to the nobility and stated
in a decree of the ruling Senate with a gracious
confirmation of the Monarch issued on 5th
May 1801 for the family descending from Jozef
Kazimierz Tumilowicz with the four sons:
Jozef, Tadeusz, Mikolaj and Piotr accepted
as genuine Polish nobility and enter them
into the nobility books of the Minsk province
executing the will of the Law Natartono of the one born Jan son of Kazimierz Tumilowicz
