The following nine articles on the technical details of the Compact Disc audio recording system were originally published as a series in the magazine MAC Audio News. The first article was in issue No. 156, November 1987 and the last in issue No. 190, December 1990. They were written by Glenn Baddeley, a member of the Melbourne Audio Club Inc. (MAC) since 1987, and Do-It-Yourself Convenor in 87/88, 88/89, 91/92 and 92/93.
