[Directory of Australian Valve Suppliers]
[International Valve Suppliers]
My collection currently consists of over 3,000 valves, covering over 700 different types.
I have also amassed hundreds of old electrical engineering and data books
going back to the 1880's, with most of them concentrated in the
1930's and 1940's. My collection of "Radio and Hobbies", "Radio, TV and Hobbies" and
"Electronics Australia" and "Electronics Australia Today" magazines fills another 8 metres of bookshelf space.
Too bad the magazine went belly-up in 2001 after only a few issues of EAT.

[ Top ] If you are having problems finding valve data or equivalents then
try me out,
I may be able to oblige with some free information from my many data books and equivalents lists.
Expect a repsonse within 3 to 7 days, as some research may be involved.
My interest in Thermionic Vacuum Tubes
I constructed my first audio power amplifier in year 9 at a small country school in
Australia. It used a 6SJ7GT driver and a 6V6GT single
ended output stage and delivered a measly 4 watts into a 6 inch speaker. All the parts
were salvaged from old valve radios. A strange fascination for
designing and building circuits using glowing bottles has continued in the 25 odd years since then.
