Thanks

Bye!Ian would like to thank many people for their help and encouragement - particularly :

John Nickles of Motorcycle Motion rider training for his sponsorship. He had the faith to commit his company to the project at an early stage and to believe that the collection of parts strewn around the workshop would one day roll around a race track with MOTORCYCLE MOTION displayed on its side. John can be contacted on (+61) 03 9532 0509 BH

Graeme Laang of Yamaha Aust. (Manager of Victorian branch) for the loan of various parts and help in sourcing and purchasing many others. Also to Peter Jones (Service manager) for advice on tuning and design / model information.

Neil Kilner of Accurate Patterns for the extremely good job done on the casting pattern for the motor. A job so complex that even Ian couldn't visualise how some of the internal components were going to join together let alone draw them in detail. Neil can be contacted on (+61) 03 5964 7405 BH

Duncan Harrington for the beautiful bodywork and for the 16 hour days he put in to finish the job in record time. A young industrial designer who worked as a fitter/turner before studying industrial design at university - Duncan is dedicated to his chosen profession in a manner that borders on obsession. Email him on: dunk69@tpg.com.au

Greg Koenekke -an research engineer with the CSIRO for checking over Ian's calculations and general support and encouragement. ( And for selling his KTM 350 to Ian )

Peter Klinesmith of Aussie Motorcycle Imports for help with a myriad of parts and for putting up with Ian constantly wandering around with a vernier and a drawing pad pulling parts out of the shelves. Peter can be contacted on (+61) 03 9702 4055.

It would still have been possible to build the 750-V8 without the help of such people - but the cost and time delays would have virtually made it impossible.
